"Tourist don't know where they've been, travelers don't know where they're going" - Paul Theroux
Hola my friends, family, and strangers who may have stumbled upon my blog! Going into my senior year, I decided to take the road less traveled by and study abroad in Sevilla, España during my Fall semester. Although it is an insane time for me to be abroad with graduate school applications and the little time that I have left to spend with my friends and colleagues, I was determined to put at ease this travel bug that kept on itching since my study abroad to India. I am terribly anxious to depart for my journey and immerse in the Spanish culture for three and a half months! While there, I adamant about being more than just a tourist. Of course I want to visit the sites that Spain is known for around the world, but I challenge myself to do more than that! It means so much to me to be able to interact with the local people, find the hidden niches in the cities that I visit, rekindle my interest in the Spanish language that I lost the love for in high school, and cultivate the sights, smells, tastes, and sounds that Europe has to offer. I have three and a half months. Challenge accepted.
